Ainoya – Kirribilli, Sydney.

Kirribilli is known for its proximity and allure of the Harbour Bridge and its surrounding scenery; when you explore the side-streets, you will find a variety of restaurants and cafés that bustle lively with patrons. Ainoya is just one of these restaurants, but it’s the pick of the bunch tonight because of my tendency to favour Japanese cuisine out of restaurants that I have not heard anything about in an area.
Redsalt – Darling Harbour, Sydney

When the We Love Sydney offers came to an end, the whole Sydney foodie world let out a sigh of disappointment as the era of buy one main get one free was over (I think it hit Chocolatesuze especially hard since it meant her reign of terror over the porkys was over). But, shortly after a new hero has arisen… Introducing Enliven Taste! There are some other offers like hotel stays, tours and other attractions but the food is where it’s at! With a selection of some new restaurants and some from the We Love Sydney list, we decided to hit up someplace we have not yet been. For research of course ^^! Perusing through the list Redsalt seemed like a prime place to start off with since I read some good comments about their steaks hee hee XD

When we talk about the Food Groups, most people would automatically think about the ones listed above. The usual rice and pasta group, the fruit group, the vege group, the meat/poultry/fish group, milk/CHEESE!/yogurt group and the fats/oils/sweets group. BUT in this crazy-aged world there have been some modifications to this Food Pyramid. There is the inclusion of a Food Group that has got people torn between two sides, either they love it to death or they find it way too much of an obsession and disgusting and that my friend is the power of BACON. So which side are you on…?
