The Red Balloon (Photo Exhibition) – Waterloo, Sydney

After the Merivale Winter Feasts Launch Party (post soon to come) we mass-headed over for the grand opening of The Red Balloon, a photo exhibition by Billy Law of A Table for Two.

Billy went to capture the aftershock of the Victorian bushfires and had used a red balloon to symbolize ‘dreams, hopes and courage’. It was quite an exciting event as I had never been to a opening of an exhibition before and it was very good experience to feel so classy, staring at the works with a look of deep thought on my face and pondering about life *nods*.
Chocolatesuze turns 1! Wagaya – Sydney

What better way to celebrate a foodbloggers B’day than by squeezing 30 or so bloggers into a private room catered for 25 people?! I have not yet been to the Wagaya private rooms but they are famous for their touch order screens and their speedy service which is perfect for a big group of hungry hungry Foodies! They also had a TV (I assumed for K, which we so should had done
) as well as speakers to plug in MP3 players. We soon had the room filled with lively chatter and pumping out some classic 80’s/90’s beats!

Here Comes the B’day Girl ^^!
Bills – Surry Hills, Sydney (2)

After my latest visit to Bills I have formed a love-hate (hmmm not really hate, that is too strong a word) relationship with it. I have not been to Bills that many times but they have always been good memories of deliciously warm ricotta hotcakes with fresh chunky banana, melty honeycomb butter (oh so melty and luscious) and a golden drizzle of maple syrup. They were definitely very tasty visits and the ricotta hotcakes always resound through my mind at the mention of breakfast. The problem with Bills is the many many (I seriously mean many) other people who all want a piece of the action as well so you have to plan ahead and get there at least half an hour earlier as not to collapse on the sidewalk from hunger.
