Nom nom nom on your boat gently down the river… – Hawkesbury River

There are not many things that would get me out of bed voluntarily, during the wee morning hours of the weekend. But one major motivator is the promise of a good relaxing weekend spent with friends in the form of a fishing trip on the Hawkesbury River. The generous Billy (A Table FOR TWO) recruited an awesome combination of crew for the fishing trip, photographers and foodbloggers! This meant many good times captured on the undeniable lens of truth as well as a 30 hour eating fest provided by Billy, The Pom, Helen (Grab Your Fork), Suze (Chocolatesuze), Simon (The <3 of Food), Tim (Monkeyboy), Beardman and Big O’ D.

The Counter Burger – Crows Nest, Sydney (3)

Yet again I find myself entering the almighty burger heaven but alas not here for a challenge this time. We were just here for a normal burger dinner fix but a pity as we only had lunch about 2-3 hours ago haha. The customness of The Counter means that multiple visits are promised and a fresh and entertaining burger each time, or you can order the same classic burger depending on your mood hee hee. There are also the ‘____ of the month’ which include a limited-time burger, shake, topping and sauce. We were lucky to get one of the last few tables as a flood of burger-hungry patrons poured in after us.
Cafe Azuma – Sydney CBD, Sydney

Whiteapple has moved away… that’s bad…
but Cafe Azuma has opened in its place!… that’s good!
but I have not actually tried Whiteapple… that’s bad…
but Cafe Azuma sells very tasty frogurt!… that’s good!
but I don’t know if their toppings contain potassium benzoate…
I am a big fan of yogurt and other yogurt-related products like Lassi, yogurt sauces (Tzatziki & Raita) and frozen yogurt (or frogurt!) is a great way to enjoy all the deliciousness of healthy and beneficial food. Other frogurt fans would know of Whiteapple Cafe at Regent Place but before I could try it, it decided to close down and move somewhere I don’t know haha. Fortunately Cafe Azuma opened up and still sell beloved frogurt, although it seems like that they do not have the same amount of topping selection as their predecessor nor do they seem to be as generous in serving sizes.
