Ju-Rin – Crows Nest, Sydney

Bulbasaur, Ivysaur and Venusaur… I mean Bokkemon, Doramon and Ju-Rin(mon?)
This pokemon/restaurant may have changed hands and names but hopefully the final evolution is here to stay. Situated along the pacific highway of Crows Nest, it is a little narrow but cozy restaurant that can be lost in among all the other resturants if you do not pay it much attention. From the outside, it is hard to peer inside as the glass is tinted and the reflection renders it possible to only view the cars passing by. Entering the restaurant, we are greeted by the usual and friendly “Irasshaimase~~” Here Comes the Food
Moo Gourmet Burgers – Coogee, Sydney

Constant cravings… the story of my life. I will be craving one thing and then suddenly it will switch to something else or even a combination of things. Burgers is a reoccurring craving that needs to be satisfied otherwise I am left with an empty feeling (accompanied by hunger pains). I remember reading Squishies post about Moo Gourmet Burgers and just how juicy and awesome the burgers looked (oh god, getting hungry just typing this up) so day D and I gave in and try them out for ourselves.
Jonah’s – Whale Beach, Sydney.
With my backlog of posts going back yonder of months, this is a post that has managed to weasel its way out of posting until now (since Australia Day in fact). Nevertheless, my recount in this entry is just as accurate as it was only yesterday that C and I ventured through the twisty roads and scenic drive that lead to Jonah’s on Whale Beach; a secluded ocean retreat located in a residential area that is away from the bustle and stress of the city.

As we are seated by the window, we overlook the sea and fall into its captivity: it is simplistically intimate. However, the glare from the sun is unbearable and we soon find ourselves opting for a different table that is raised on a platform and overlooking the entire room, yet with the view still within our line of sight.
