Hello… my name is Richard and… and… I am not an alcoholic
but I do love my beers. I have decided to start a series of Boozeday Toozeday where I will review a new drink (yeah.. I know, foodblogging is such a hard hobby
) and hopefully spread the word about interesting and tasty beers. My passion for beers was revived by the Beef & Beer Masterclass where I was introduced to many exciting beers which I had not tried before. I also had a unofficial first post with Hoegaarden but this shall be the first official post of the series
As with the Hoegaarden post, I shall try and include a recipe as food matches so beautifully with beer hee hee. If you have any recommendations please let me know, thanks! Without further adieu Here Comes the Booze!
Home Cooking: Amazing Pork Belly Bites from Jamie’s America

As the day grows shorter and the weather gets colder there are fewer and fewer opportunities to just chill with a beer in one hand, snacks in the other and pumping some chillax in the background. I say we will not enter the Autumn/Winter without a last hurruh! (even though I love winter and drink beer all year round hee hee)

A browse through my latest addition (I heart Jamie ^^!) to my modest little cookbook collection, always ends up with me dreaming about one recipe in particular… the Amazing Pork Cracklings. Just the mere name causes shivers of anticipation through my body and my mouth to salivate uncontrollably. Read the rest of this entry »
Home Cooking – Chocolate Bread & Butter Pudding

Who does not crave a gooey and dark chocolatey bread and butter pudding after catching a glimpse of this Bread Pudding and Chocolate Beer Sauce from Jamie Oliver’s latest book, Jamie’s America? Seeing this recipe reminded me of the awesome and so very decadent Choc B&B pudding by Tim and another recipe which I spotted a while ago which I had my heart set on to try sometime. I decided to take this dessert up to my beach trip even though it is hot, I doubt people will refuse chocolatey goodness ^^! My version of the chocolate bread and butter pudding was inspired by Jaime’s and Karen’s recipes and a lot of winging it as I went so check out their recipes for the ingredients and more detailed methods (sorry I forgot how much I used haha).
