B’day Spoils!

A big THANKS to everyone who came out to celebrate with me (a while back) for my b’day (even further back) and just a quick post of my b’day spoils! Here Comes the Spoils
Lunch Food Crawl with Ladyironchef and The Ninja

What better way to welcome fellow food blogger Ladyironchef from Singapore than a lunchtime food crawl in the heart of Sydney? Along with the Ninja, we thought that one of the best places to meet up and try first was the cute little wagyu beef burgers of Plan B where will we continue pondering over a nice burger. Meeting someone in real life that you have only communicated through blogs is a exciting experience as the moment of truth arrives with the unveiling of our ‘weapons of choice’. The unspoken bond of the foodblogger is truly universal and fills me with a sense of awe.
Here Comes the Food
Cheese and Pork Party ^^!

Nothing says “party” like a BIG PLATE OF MEAT! but when it comes to foodbloggers, that is merely just one of the dishes on offer. Accompanied by a big board of very colourful and various cheeses and a tray of fresh strawberries, rockmelon, labna (more cheese ^^!) and beetroot relish we were ready a measly 45mins-1hour post dinner. The herd of piglets consisted of Suze, Helen, Lex, Simon and Minh.

Chef Lex: I am an Arabian Porcine temptress… look at my seductive belly-dancinngg ooohhh
Pity I cannot take videos otherwise the show he put on for us was quite the seductive…. ok, I lied… it was just average
While Helen and Minh concentrated hard over bookworm the rest of us laid out the huge array of meats mainly contributed by Simon (Big Thanks!) while Suze prepared all the cheeses she brought back from Hunter Valley.
