Marque – Surry Hills, Sydney

After hearing the closures of Forty One, which I was lucky enough to try many years back, and Sojourn, which I did not get to try at all /sad face, it was sad to think that fine dining was a dying breed. Probably due to the financial crisis so everyone is trying to save money and the influences of shows like Masterchef, people are invigorated to try their own hand at creating restaurant quality cooking. I think it is great that people are cooking more and experimenting more in the kitchen but there is still a place in my heart where I want to go out and pampered with gorgeous and creative food. Luckily one of the perfect excuses to try a place like this is a Birthday ^^!

Park Hyatt Chardonnay Dinner – The Rocks, Sydney

I may not be as eloquently spoken as some other foodbloggers, be as photographically adept as others or just be plain awesome as others but as a foodblogger, my blog is my refuge, my sanctuary, my place of thoughts and way of sharing my passion. So when pretentious people prejudice us and casually flaunt their discourteous manner about our pride and joy in front of us, it hurts.
