Down the steep, windy and narrow road in the pitch dark of the night only added that extra bit of excitement to our journey. For Pupu‘s Bday celebration I had decided to take advantage of this occasion and go try out a place which I have been meaning to try for a very long time now. Berowra Waters Inn, even the name itself sounds ever so elegant. T’was a very chilly night and being by the water it was even more so, luckily we were rugged up in our big coats and thanks to D‘s previous post we did not end up on the other side of the river. The darkness surrounded us except for pretty twinkling lights spotted along the river shore, from random yachts and from the stars; which made the ferry ride quite romantic. Here Comes the Food

Maze – Southbank, Melbourne

Crown. A symbol of power, immortality and in our case, we are getting closer and closer to Maze. The appropriately named restaurant is located with the Crown Metropol, which is probably like a  small city. The building were all interconnected and after wondering around and admiring all the beautiful architecture, interior design and art display of horse racing; we made our way through the casino (ooh and ahhed at the flashing lights), walked though wonderfully moody hallways and past some shops to be greeted by the handsome wooden entrance of Maze. Tomislav Just Desserts – Darlinghurst, Sydney

There are some people who flip straight to the desserts section of a menu when they are seated at a restaurant. Okay, I admit I am sometimes one of those people and how can you blame us. Desserts are sweet, sexy and devilishly seductive. So when Tomislav Martinovic decided to do a ‘Just Desserts’ degustation, it was only natural that a group of dessert loving fanatics would congregate to get our sugar on. Just Desserts was a stroke of brilliance that consisted of a reverse degustation consisting of 4 sweet dishes and finishing with a savoury note. Here Comes the Food
