Manly Pavilion – Manly, Sydney

Imagine taking a leisurely stroll along the sandy beaches admiring the breath-taking view of a glistening waterfront. The sun shining brightly, radiating its warmth while the water makes soothing sounds as it laps against the golden sand. Perfect… well almost! One key component is missing and that is food! After hearing the closures of Forty One, which I was lucky enough to try many years back, and Sojourn, which I did not get to try at all /sad face, it was sad to think that fine dining was a dying breed. Probably due to the financial crisis so everyone is trying to save money and the influences of shows like Masterchef, people are invigorated to try their own hand at creating restaurant quality cooking. I think it is great that people are cooking more and experimenting more in the kitchen but there is still a place in my heart where I want to go out and pampered with gorgeous and creative food. Luckily one of the perfect excuses to try a place like this is a Birthday ^^!

Have a very Merry Disco… I mean Christmas!
There was cause for celebration for Pupu as she had received word that she had passed her exam which was worth 100% of her course (yay!) and so I took her to celebrate the only way I know how… with food ^^! It was also the perfect excuse to try out a nice 3 hatted restaurant like est. which I have been wanting to try for a very long time.

Oohh purdy place
When the elevator doors opened I was in awe of the setting and atmosphere of this place. Felt very prestigious especially when the waiter explained that the owner is very concerned about photography of the place. Read the rest of this entry »
