Sorry for the lateness and simplicity of this post but due to crazy amount of uni work (why they like to give you all the work in one go I have no idea) I have have not been able to take some proper photographs and try out the recipes I had in mind. Then good old Optus decided to cap me (yay) so uploading and importing photos have at least tripled in time required. However I did manage to squeeze in some “research” time with a good Korean friend of mine. No, not Simon but Bohae Bokbunjajoo. Here Comes the Booze.

Home Cooking: Risotto with Scallops from Gordon Ramsay Kitchen Heaven

When was your first time cooking risotto? How did you feel after standing over the hot stove for over 40 minutes showing it the same amount of tender-loving-care you show one of your loved ones? How was the first spoonful of your final creation?

I had always thought risotto was ones of those dishes that take years and years of practice to just scrape up an edible version so I had not even thought of attempting it. But the truth is you don’t really know what something is like until you actually try it. Almost Bourdain blogwarming ^^!

Yo G, dat rave was P-H-AT!

A big probs and hollah to Ellie of Almost Bourdain for hostin’ a dope GTG for sum homies. Foshizzle my nizzle, and remember an umbrella for the drizzle…. anyway, back to normality. Ellie had decided to hold a banquet as a sort of blogwarming party, even though her blog is already thriving with countless delicious recipes but it was a good excuse to have a fun meet up and eat! A huge thanks to both her and Mr. Almost Bourdain for preparing sooooo many tasty Malaysian and Dutch dishes!
