Mappen – Sydney CBD, Sydney

Walking into Mappen noodle bar is like walking back in time. Every little detail in this place transforms me to the wonderful world of yummy noodles: either udon, ramen or soba. In addition, there is a buffet of crunchy, golden freshly fried tempura pickings to choose to your liking and this place surpasses the average noodle bar. This place is an exciting change of pace compared to all the other establishments along the busy streets of the CBD. Here Comes the Food
Jazushi – Surry Hills, Sydney

Some people say that, ‘time flies when you having fun’ so the past 2 months have not really flown by for me. My apologies for my absence from the blogging world for these past few months for I had been a bit preoccupied with procrastinating studying and mix that with laziness and you get a dangerous concoction for non-blogging. However, now that I am free (YAYY!!!! In yo face exam!) I will try and get this blog back to regular programming! Kick start this by kicking back with some good jazzy chill and some tasty Japanese food at Jazushi. Here Comes the Food
Ocean Room Sake Masterclass – The Rocks, Sydney

I have always been a Japanese fanatic. Everything and anything to do with Japan or Japanese I would usually be in the midst of it all being. Sake was also one of the things I really enjoyed but I did not realize how much of the sake world I did not really understand and was missing out until the Ocean Room Sake Masterclass. I was invited along with a number of other bloggers to enjoy a night dedicated fully to sake by drinking, eating and breathing sake. Sake master Toshi Maeda teamed up with head chef Raita Noda to create what I can call the ultimate tribute to the glory of sake. Here Come the Food
