Cafe Enzo – Pokolbin, Hunter Valley

Hey guyyss! Sorry for the tardiness in posting but I have been frantic panicking over interviews and so neglected posting. Oh, also Pupu and I went to Hunter Valley a little while ago so we came back bearing a couple of tasty wines. However, the most memorable part of the trip for me was actually Cafe Enzo. I had heard many stories about their scones so I had to try them for myself but I didn’t expect their food to be so much awesome as well! Here Comes the Food

Manta – Woolloomooloo, Sydney

Ahoy there! Forgive us for being so quiet on the blogging front but due to many other duties and a good pinch of laziness we have been unable to update as much as we like. However we shall come back with a bang and in splendorous meaty fashion with a B’day celebration at Manta. I had always wanted to visit this place for their ‘beef from the charcaol grill’ made very well known to me by Chef Lex who has been here on multiple occasions for a good healthy dose of meat and marbled fatty goodness. Bistro Vue – Melbourne CBD

Our Sydney-based readers you might have once asked: what is Melbourne like during the Christmas period? The answer: Exactly the same as Sydney. Similarities include everything being closed besides Swanston Street and Chinatown, a flourishing food scene and the same long queues outside luxury brands stores. What I loved most about my trip was arriving on Christmas Day and exploring the deserted metro centre. The feeling of having the whole street/lane/side-street to yourself was bliss. Of course, there were rare moments where you would come across people wandering the same streets, but there was an unspoken acknowledgement of the same thought.

Bistro Vue is the lesser version of Vue de monde in terms of formality; the classical French fare is just as good. The dining room has an almost rustic feel as you can see the wooden beams supporting the sealing and hole-in-the-wall plating area allows you to catch small glimpses of the kitchen.
