Nishiki Wagyu Yakiniku – Crows Nest, Sydney

*BING* I got message! A random message around dinner time a while ago had me drooling behind my control. My friend Monkeyjaja (aka Goofy Tom) had sent me a picture of a sample meat platter from a relatively new restaurant called Nishiki. The vibrant marbling on those shimmering slices of meat brings back flashback of bbq in Japan. Then he notifies me that it is near my hood at Crows Nest and I probably scared everybody in my vicinity with shouts of glee. Manta – Woolloomooloo, Sydney

Ahoy there! Forgive us for being so quiet on the blogging front but due to many other duties and a good pinch of laziness we have been unable to update as much as we like. However we shall come back with a bang and in splendorous meaty fashion with a B’day celebration at Manta. I had always wanted to visit this place for their ‘beef from the charcaol grill’ made very well known to me by Chef Lex who has been here on multiple occasions for a good healthy dose of meat and marbled fatty goodness. HaNa Ju-Rin – Crows Nest, Sydney

It has been a little while since my last visit to this Ju-Rin but on my last visit we were informed by the owner Terry, that a new addition to the family was soon to arrive. Time flew past but through the power of twitter my urge to revisit Ju-Rin was brought about, thanks to Almost Bourdain. Thankfully my mother had remembered about the new place with teppanyaki and so a visit to try out the new restaurant was put forth. Here Comes the Food
